Color actions in material settings

  • Click the color swatch to select a color from the Select Color dialog.

  • Right-click the color swatch, or click the small black triangle, to access more color options.

    Color Picker

    Select a color from the Select Color dialog.

    Copy Color

    Stores the current color in the clipboard.

    Paste Color

    Applies the color stored in the clipboard.

    (The menu items below are only available when the color supports texture assignment.)

    Assign Texture

    Select a texture to override the base color.

    Replace Texture

    Select a texture to replace the current texture.

    Edit Texture

    Change settings of the current texture.

    Remove Texture

    Reverts the material to use the base color.

  • Drag a color from a color swatch to another in Materials, Environments, or Textures to copy the color.

  • Drag a color from a color swatch to a file folder to create a Rhino color file (.rcolor).
