Edit solid objects
A solid is a surface or polysurface that encloses a volume. Solids can be edited without breaking them into individual surfaces. These commands do their best to maintain the closed solid.
Cap
Fills planar holes in objects with planar faces.
ChamferEdge
Create a ruled surface at polysurface edges.
CreateSolid
Create a closed polysurface from surfaces.
FilletEdge
Create a tangent surface between polysurface edges.
FoldFace
Rotate polysurface faces around an axis.
MergeCoplanarFace
Combines adjacent coplanar faces of a mesh, polysurface, or SubD into a single face.
MoveEdge
Move a polysurface edge.
MoveFace
Move a polysurface face.
MoveUntrimmedEdge
Move the edge of an untrimmed polysurface face.
MoveUntrimmedFace
Move an untrimmed polysurface face.
Shell
Remove the selected surfaces from a polysurface, and then offset the remaining surfaces to create a solid with a specified thickness.
SplitFace
Divides the selected surface of a polysurface by drawing a polyline, selected curves, or isocurves.
