Render Shade |
The Shade command temporarily shades the viewport.
Steps
- Specify shade settings.
- Click in the viewport, press Esc, or start another command to cancel the shaded view.

ShadedSets the viewport to opaque shaded mode. RenderedShades the viewport with an OpenGL simulation of the rendered view. GhostedSets viewport display so surfaces are translucent ghosted mode. XRayShades with ghosted mode whereisoparametric curves not obscured by objects in front. |

View Shade Selected Objects Only |
The ShadeSelected command toggles the ShadeSelected mode. When the ShadeSelected mode is on, in any shaded kind of display mode, objects will only be shaded when they are selected. When isocurves and edges are turned off (i.e., the Rendered mode), you will not see anything until you select something.
