Curve Curve From Objects > Extract Points |
The ExtractPt command places point objects at curve control points or edit point locations, surface and text control point locations, polygon mesh vertices, and so on.
Input

Basically all object types

Polysurface face and edge (Sub-selected)

Mesh/SubD face, edge, and vertex (Sub-selected)
Different vertices are extracted from smooth and flat SubDs.
Steps
- Select curves, surfaces, or polygon mesh objects.
Rhino creates point objects for every control point in the object.
To extract selected points only
- Turn on the control points or the edit points on an object.
- Select the control or edit points to duplicate.

Specifies the layer for the results of the command. CurrentPlaces the results on the current layer. InputPlaces the results on the same layer as the input curve. Note: If the input object is in a model that is attached using Worksession, the object will be placed on the current layer. TargetObjectPlaces the results on the same layer as the target surface. |

PointsExtracts individual point objects. PointCloudExtracts points into a point cloud object. |
