The InflateCrv command creates inflated mesh or SubD objects from closed planar curves.
-
Curves inside other curves create holes.
-
The edges of the result stay on the curves. The result is an open object.
Steps
-
Select closed planar curves and press Enter.
-
Set command-line options.
-
Type a height and press Enter.
A preview shows the result. You can change the height and the options again.
-
Press Enter to create the object.
Command-line options
Height
Sets the maximum height of the inflated shape.
Flattening
Flattens the top of the shape.
The value is between 0 and 1. At 0, the top is round. Larger values make a larger flat area.
DraftAngle
Makes the sides slope at least this angle from the vertical direction.
The value is between 0 and 89 degrees. At 0, the slope is not limited.
Resolution
Sets the density of the mesh. The value is between 1 and 20. Higher values create more faces.
If some meshes cannot be created, try a higher value.
Flip
Inflates the shape in the opposite direction.
QuadRemesh
Output
This option is only available when QuadRemesh=Yes.
Mesh
Creates a mesh.
SubD
Creates a SubD.
