Display the active GPU engine in the lower-left corner of each viewport.
GPU Tessellation (For OpenGL Only)
GPU tessellation is only available with display drivers that support OpenGL 4.0 or higher.
GPU tessellation draws curves, polysurface and extrusion object wires using a technique to generate curve information entirely on the graphics card. This can result in dramatic performance improvements for wire drawing (results will vary based on the graphics card used).
Level
Specify which OpenGL version will be used for viewport display.
- Moving the slider all the way to the left will disable display card acceleration and use the software OpenGL driver.
To troubleshoot display issues
-
Make sure your Windows system, Rhino, and display card driver are all updated.
-
Move the slider one step at a time to the left side until the problem is resolved. (Click and restart Rhino for every change.)
