The Fill command creates SubD/mesh faces from SubD/mesh boundary edges.
Start the command.
Click SubD/mesh boundary edges one by one to select a chain.
Or, double-click an edge to select a whole boundary chain.
Press Enter.
Select edges before the command starts.
Command+Shift+Click to select edges one by one.
Command+Shift+Double-Click to select the whole boundary chain.
Command-line options
Create quad faces whenever possible. The result may be a combination of triangle or quad faces.
Create a single face.
Create triangle faces that have a common point.
Create triangle faces that may not be well organized.
Fill a hole in a mesh.
Fill all holes in a mesh.
Use the Cap command to fill planar holes in polysurfaces.
