Texture Selection

Name

Material name

The material name will be automatically selected from the image files. It can be renamed as needed.

Texture assignment

Lists the selected image files and their assignment.

  • If the image file names use certain suffixes, they will be assigned automatically. For example:

    *_basecolor.png -> Base color texture

    *_metallic.png -> Metallic texture

    *_normal.png -> Normal texture

    *_roughness.png -> Roughness texture

  • If an image file is assigned to a setting, the assignment displays a green border. If not, it displays "Unset" with a red border. Image files with "Unset" selected will not import.

Texture mapping

Texture mapping settings will be applied to all the imported images.

Surface mapping

Sets texture mapping to a mapping channel that can be controlled by object's texture mapping properties.

Real world size

Sets texture mapping to WCS/OCS (box style).

Texture size in model units

Sets the mapping size of the texture.
