To reference an annotation's own Attribute User Text

Steps

1. Create a linear annotation.

   

2. Select the linear annotation.

3. Select (Attribute User Text) in the Properties panel.

4. Add a new user text.

   Key="unit"

   Value="mm"

5. Select (Object), place the cursor behind "<>" in the text editing box.

6. Click (Text Fields).

7. Select AttributeUserText from the function list.

8. Click Select Object to select the linear annotation.

9. Select the unit key, click OK.
