The Licenses page displays the license status of the current Rhino and the plug-ins that use the McNeel license manager.

A Rhino license can be stored in the Cloud Zoo, LAN Zoo, or a single computer.
Differences of the three licensing types
Opens the Licensing dialog box to change the licensing type.
LAN Zoo options
Check Out
Saves the license retrieved from the LAN Zoo server to your computer. It allows you to use the license without connecting to the LAN Zoo server. Other users won't have access to the license until you checked in the license.
Returns the checked out license to the LAN Zoo. The license can be shared again by users.

The CheckOutLicense command opens the Licenses option page. When you check out a license from the LAN Zoo server, the license is saved to your computer. The CheckInLicense command opens the Licenses option page. A license can be checked in if it was checked out from the LAN Zoo license server. When a license is checked in, the license can be shared again by users.

The Login command logs you into Rhino using your Rhino account. If you are already logged in, your credentials will be refreshed.

The Logout command logs you out and returns any licenses retrieved from a Rhino account.
If the Rhino license is from a Rhino account, returning your license will cause all sessions of Rhino to close on your computer. You will be given a chance to save your work if there are any unsaved changes on any of the open sessions.
