The Intersect command creates point objects or curves at the intersection of two objects.

  • Curves, Surfaces, Polysurfaces, Extrusions

Steps

Command-line options
IP

Type IP for InfinitePlane options.

SubCrv

Type subcrv to select part of a curve as input.

Intersection of Two Sets

The IntersectTwoSets command finds the intersection of one set of objects with another set of objects.

Intersections among objects within each set are ignored.

Input

  • Curves, Surfaces, Polysurfaces, Extrusions

Steps

  1. Select objects for the first set.
    You can use the Group command to make selection easier.
  2. Select objects for the second set.
Command-line options
OutputLayer
Current

Resulting objects will be on the current layer.

FirstSet

Resulting objects will be on the layer of the first set selected.

SecondSet

Resulting objects will be on the layer of the second set selected.

IP

Type IP for InfinitePlane options.

SubCrv

Type subcrv to select part of a curve as input.
