Named Positions |
The NamedPosition command saves and restores the location of objects.
Named Positions Panel
Save asSaves and names the position of the selected objects.

RestoreRestores the specified saved object position.
DeleteDeletes the selected named position.
Update selected named positionResets the location of all of the objects attached to the named position to their current locations.
Append to selected named positionAdds an object in its current location to the selected named position.
Select in documentSelects all objects tagged with the position name.
Move up
Moves the selected item up in the list.
Move downMoves the selected item down in the list.
You can also use drag and drop to reorder items.
Sorts the list from A to Z.
Sorts the list from Z to A.
Clicking the name column header switches sorting order between ascending and descending.
Allows to sort the list using drag and drop, or the and buttons on the toolbar.
Custom order can be remembered when switching to other sorting methods.
Restores the specified saved object position.
Resets the location of all of the objects attached to the named position to their current locations.
Adds an object in its current location to the selected named position.
Deletes the selected named position.
Renames the selected named position.
Selects all objects tagged with the position name.
Saves and names the position of the selected objects.
Drag and drop a Named Positions...
in the same Named Positions panel with Ctrl to make a copy.

The Snapshots command saves and restores Named Views, Named Positions, Layer States, as well as rendering settings, object settings including locked/hidden state, display mode, material, position, light settings, curve piping, displacement, edge softening, shutlining, and thickness.
