The Hyperlink command manages URL addresses attached to an object.

Steps

Command-line options

Attach

Attach a URL to an object.

Detach

Detach a URL from an object.

List

Lists the URLs attached to the selected objects.

Open

Opens the URL attached to an object.

Note: You can also hold Command ⌘ and click the object to open the URL.

SelectByHyperlink

Selects objects with URLs attached. Enter a URL or select All.

OpenURL

Not on toolbars.

Not on menus.

The OpenURL command prompts for entering a web address and opens the website in the default web browser.

  • The web address has to begin with "http://" or "https://".
