When Rhino is installed, you can start Rhino from the Applications folder. You can also customize how Rhino starts using command-line arguments in Terminal or an Automator application.
Hides the splash screen and skips checking obsolete and new versions when Rhino starts.
When Rhino is not running, run one of these scripts in Terminal.
open /Applications/Rhinoceros.app --args -nosplash

/Applications/Rhinoceros.app/Contents/MacOS/Rhinoceros -nosplash
Run a script at startup.
When Rhino is not running, run one of these scripts in Terminal.
open /Applications/Rhinoceros.app --args -runscript "_Line 0 10,10,10"

/Applications/Rhinoceros..app/Contents/MacOS/Rhinoceros -runscript "_Line 0 10,10,10"
Add <Path>/<Filename>.3dm:
/Applications/Rhinoceros..app/Contents/MacOS/Rhinoceros <Path>/<filename>.3dm -runscript "_Line 0 10,10,10"
Use the -_RunPythonScript command to open a Python script file:
/Applications/Rhinoceros.app/Contents/MacOS/Rhinoceros -runscript "-_RunPythonScript <Path>/<Filename>.py"
The path and name of a model file to open.
When Rhino is not running, run one of these scripts in Terminal.
open /Applications/Rhinoceros.app --args <Path>/<Filename>.3dm

/Applications/Rhinoceros.app/Contents/MacOS/Rhinoceros <Path>/<Filename>.3dm
(Add more <Path>/<Filename>.3dm to open multiple models.)
