The OneView command sets the active construction plane to the World Top, Bottom, Front, Right, Left, Back planes or Named CPlanes according to the current view direction to accommodate single-window modeling.

By default, this mode automatically sets your viewport to a maximized Perspective view.

As you rotate the view and approach the plan view of the World Top, Bottom, Front, Right, Left, Back planes or a Named CPlane, the construction plane snaps to the plane.

To turn OneView mode off

  • Run the OneView command again and set the Enable option to Off to turn off OneView.

Actions

  • Double-click the viewport title to return to the previous viewport layout.
  • Press Ctrl + Shift and move the right mouse button to toggle snapping to plan views.

Turns on OneView mode, maximizes the perspective viewport, and sets it current.

Turns OneView mode off.

Angle

The Angle setting determines how close to the nearest plane's normal your view direction needs to be before the construction plane is made active. The range is 1-44. Smaller numbers mean a longer wait as you rotate the view before a new construction plane is made active, and a shorter wait for switching away from the current one.
