Render Content Name Conflict

Rhino detects material, environment and texture name conflicts in the following file operations:

When a render content item name already exists in the current model, but the content settings are different, the Render Content Name Conflict dialog shows up with options to resolve the conflict.

Keep the existing item and discard the imported item

Do not import the conflict item.

The scriptable -Import and -Insert commands always use this option.

Automatically rename the imported items

Import the conflict item with a number suffix added to its name.

Rename the imported items using...

Type a new name for the conflict item. If the new name also exists, a number suffix is added to its name.

Replace the existing item with the imported item

Import the conflict item to replace the existing one.

Do this for any further conflicts during this command

Resolves all the following conflicts with the selected option in the current file import.

Always keep the existing item; do not show this again

Never import conflict items in the future and turns off the dialog display.

To turn the dialog back on

Use the ResetMessageBoxes command.
