The Volume command reports the volume of a closed surfaces, polysurfaces, or meshes.
Note: Volumes can be calculated on groups of objects that are not closed. This allows volumes to be calculated on surfaces that form an enclosed volume but are not joined.
Steps

Set the units for the volume display.
Note: This option is only available if no objects are selected.
