The HBar command edits a curve or surface with Bézier curve style handlebars.
Steps for curves
1. | Select a curve. |
2. | Click and drag the handlebar grips to move it around. |
3. | Click near the object to move the handlebar to the marker position. |
4. | Press Enter to end the command. |
Steps for surfaces
1. | Select a surface. |
2. | Click and drag one of the handlebar grips to move it around. |
3. | Press and hold Alt to drag points on the surface in the surface normal direction. |
4. | Click near the object to move the handlebar to the marker position. |
5. | Press Enter to end the command. |
Command-line options
Tangents (surfaces only)
Shows the tangent and normal grips with the grip on the surface.
Drag the normal midpoint grip to move the normal handle away from or toward the surface.
Drag the normal endpoint grip to rotate the normal handle.
FixedHandleLength
Prevents changing the shape of the curve by stretching the handles.
