The FoldFace command rotates selected polysurface faces around an axis line.
The surrounding joined surfaces are adjusted to accommodate the new face orientation.
Steps
1. | Select a surface. |
2. | Pick the start of the folding axis. |
3. | Pick the end of the folding axis. |
4. | Pick rotation angles for face A and B. |
Note
● | The surrounding joined surfaces are adjusted to accommodate the new face shape and orientation. |
● | All adjusted faces must be either planar or easy to stretch (extruded surfaces in the direction of stretch). |
● | Holes in the adjusted faces generally do not move or stretch. |
